Role: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Novartis focused on biomedical research and drug discovery, specifically targeting aging-related molecular mechanisms such as DNA repair pathways. Objectives: develop computational and experimental approaches to identify novel methods to enhance DNA repair for age-related diseases. Responsibilities: create analytical workflows integrating AI and molecular biology tools, perform data analysis, design and conduct cell culture experiments (including iPSC models), and translate computational insights into assay development. Requirements: PhD in biology, computational biology, or related field (conferred in 2026), with proven research achievements; expertise in omics data analysis (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, proteomics), programming in Python or R, and wet-lab molecular biology techniques; strong publication record and problem-solving skills. Preferred: knowledge of AI applications, experience with iPSC models and machine learning, and high-performance computing. HighValue: focus on aging, DNA damage repair, integration of computational and experimental biology, and innovative assay development. WorkSetup: onsite in Cambridge, MA; full-time, up to 3 years; US work authorization required.
