Innovation, Data & Analytics Team, Senior Data Scientist (AI Lead)

Role: Lead the development and evaluation of analytical methodologies underpinning Pfizer's AI-driven workflows within the Data & Analytics team, focusing on model selection, cohort segmentation, and decision logic design. Responsibilities include directing methodological rigor, collaborating with engineering to translate models into production pipelines, and supporting strategic planning aligned with medical and analytical priorities. The role involves cross-functional communication, mentorship of junior data scientists, and proactive identification of analytical advancements. Requirements: PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields with 5+ to 8+ years in healthcare data science, including claims, EHR, and OMOP frameworks; hands-on experience with AI/ML models, including large language models (LLMs) and agentic systems; leadership experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. Preferred: deep healthcare/pharma sector knowledge, familiarity with real-world data sources, and experience translating methodologies into scalable solutions.
