Innovation, Data & Analytics Team, Senior Data Scientist (AI Lead)

Role: Lead the development and oversight of analytical methodology for AI-driven workflows within Pfizer's Data & Analytics team, focusing on model selection, cohort segmentation, and decision logic. Responsibilities: define and evaluate AI models, design real-world data-based segmentation strategies, ensure methodological rigor in agent decisioning, and collaborate with engineering to translate these into production systems. Support strategic planning by aligning analytics with business priorities, communicate insights to stakeholders, and mentor junior data scientists and engineers. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields; 8+ years of experience in healthcare data science, including claims, EHR, or HEDIS/OMOP data; hands-on experience with large language models and agentic AI systems; proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. High-Value: focus on healthcare/pharma data, AI model governance, real-world data applications, and production-grade AI systems; located at Pfizer sites in NY, PA, MA, CT, Europe, or Montreal; hybrid work model with 2-3 days onsite; experience in biopharma data strategies and AI safety/regulatory considerations preferred.
