Role: Leader in AI systems engineering within the Innovation, Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing and operationalizing agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks for AI-based processes. Responsibilities: build and enhance production-grade agent architectures; translate scientific methodologies into reliable systems; collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance; implement monitoring and cost controls for large language model (LLM) systems; document architecture for audit purposes; identify opportunities for workflow improvements. Requirements: 8+ years of software or ML engineering experience, with a focus on healthcare or pharma sectors; degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; expertise in agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Pydantic AI), production system design, and MLOps practices including LLM API integrations; strong software engineering and documentation skills; effective communication for technical and regulatory audiences. High-Value: AI workflow orchestration, agent architecture, LLM/MLops, healthcare data applications. Location: hybrid, multiple US-based Pfizer sites, or Europe; travel minimal.
