The Research Scientist of R&D designs and develops inhaled dosage forms (solution, suspension, gel, cream, ointment, sterile products, etc.), including literature search, pre-formulation studies, prototype development, process scale-up, and optimization. Creates relevant project documents and manages logistics to execute projects on time.

Essential Functions:
- Provide scientific leadership for generic pharmaceutical inhaled dosage forms (metered dose inhalers, DPIs, sterile solutions/suspensions); design and conduct pre-formulation studies and manufacture lab-scale batches to identify prototypes.
- Provide technical leadership to execute projects from raw material/packaging selection and formulation strategy through scientific development and process scale-up; apply Quality by Design (QbD) and design experiments to develop robust formulations/processes.
- Write technical reports, protocols, batch records, and project presentations; prepare ANDA submission documents (product formula, manufacturing instructions, product development reports).
- Troubleshoot complex project problems; analyze data and propose action plans.
- Coordinate with inter-departmental teams to meet project goals.
- Delegate work to junior scientists and provide training/guidance.

Qualifications:
- Education: MS/MA in Science (Required). PhD in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacy/Engineering/Chemistry or related field (Preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years in pharmaceutical development applying scientific principles (Required).

Benefits/Compensation (as stated): Base salary $90,000–$115,000/year; short-term incentive (bonus/performance-based award) within first 12 months; health/insurance benefits and 401(k) matching.
