Responsibilities:
- Own daily administration of Microsoft Purview across core functional areas.
- Administer and maintain Purview sensitivity labels, label policies, and auto-labeling; develop/refine classification taxonomies for pharmaceutical data; tune auto-classification rules to reduce false positives.
- Build, maintain, and continuously tune DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and endpoints; investigate alerts, distinguish true violations, document and escalate confirmed incidents.
- Support legal hold requests and eDiscovery collections; execute accurate content searches per chain-of-custody.
- Administer Purview Insider Risk Management policies; review alerts and coordinate on confirmed/suspected cases with strict confidentiality.
- Generate/interpret Purview audit logs and compliance reports; report KPIs and recommend policy/configuration improvements.
- Monitor Purview health/performance; manage connector integrations and keep current with relevant Microsoft releases.
- Maintain documentation and triage/escalate security alerts.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Security/IT/CS or related field.
- 3+ years in information security, IT compliance, or data governance.
- Hands-on Purview (or Microsoft 365 Compliance Center) experience in at least two: sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, or Insider Risk.
- Experience in a regulated industry.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving; can investigate alerts/audit logs and separate signal from noise.
- Effective written/verbal communication; explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Pay/Benefits/Application:
- Wisconsin: $85,000β$100,000; California: $95,000β$110,000.
