Role: Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventative, on-demand, and improvement maintenance activities at a biopharma production facility. Primary objectives include ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective repair and upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment, and safety/security systems. Responsibilities encompass troubleshooting mechanical, HVAC, and electrical issues independently, collaborating effectively with production teams regarding repair schedules and equipment availability, and participating in health & safety program implementation. Qualifications: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environments; preferred credentials include state-recognized trades such as Master Electrician or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright. Technical skills required involve electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and mathematical calculations. Higher-level oversight or supervisory experience and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO systems are advantageous. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and access confined spaces is necessary. High-value specifics include work in a biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, supporting production equipment and safety systems, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role may be offered at different levels based on experience and education, with salary adjusted accordingly.
