Industrial Maintenance Technician

Role: Maintenance technician responsible for preventative, on-demand, and improvement maintenance at Envigo RMS LLC’s dietary production facilities. Objectives include ensuring safety, security, and operational efficiency of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities encompass performing safe, timely repairs and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, HVAC, and electrical issues, and collaborating with production staff on repair schedules. The role involves training other technicians and supporting safety programs. Qualifications: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, with preferred skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. Certifications such as Master Electrician or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright are desirable. Education may include a relevant degree; advanced degrees are helpful. High-value specifics include experience in regulated environments, industrial maintenance (hands-on), and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean. Skills in communication, independent work, and technical proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and enter confined spaces is required. The position is based on a day shift (Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday work).
