Role: In Vivo Research Associate II at the Arc Institute, supporting neuroscience and genome-scale CRISPR research related to brain development. Responsibilities: conduct in vivo mouse experiments including stereotaxic surgeries, injections, tissue collection, sectioning, immunostaining, imaging, and data analysis; ensure compliance with animal research regulations; document experiments thoroughly and present findings. Requirements: BS with 2+ years in molecular biology, neuroscience, or related field; extensive experience with animal handling, intracerebral injections, and tissue processing; strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and communication. HighValue: animal models, neuroscience, genome editing, brain development, IACUC/AAALAC compliance, experimental troubleshooting. WorkSetup: full-time, based in Palo Alto, with some weekend work possible, supporting projects under senior scientists. Preferred: cloning experience (Gibson, Golden Gate), NGS library prep (single-cell/spatial), and basic computational skills (Python, R). Salary: approximately $75,900, excluding benefits.
