Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import/export and logistics for the Devens Biologics Manufacturing Site, including shipment documentation, scheduling, and cold chain logistics for domestic and export drug substance shipments.
- Schedule and coordinate outbound final product shipments; prepare commercial transportation documentation; ensure broker/carrier conformance to BMS shipping instructions.
- Perform SAP order transactions; create delivery notes, packing lists, and invoices.
- Support shipment/export/import activities in compliance with GMP, DOT, IATA, and IMDG.
- Review export shipments for legal/regulatory compliance.
- Maintain the Site Import Log; audit entry documents and declared value confirmations to ensure compliance with import/export procedures.
- Coordinate inbound shipments with US Customs Broker, freight forwarders, and end users.
- Manage import documentation flow, accuracy, and compliance between suppliers and Customs Broker (e.g., Customs Official Agents, FDA, USDA).
- Provide subject-matter guidance on import/export requirements; participate in process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs in business, logistics, materials management, supply chain, or related (preferred).
- 2โ4 yearsโ experience in Inventory Control, Material Management, or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent combination of experience/education acceptable.
