Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import, export, and logistics activities for the Devens Biologics Manufacturing Site, including shipment documentation, scheduling, and cold chain logistics for domestic and export drug substance shipments.
- Schedule and coordinate outbound final product shipments from the Devens site; prepare commercial transportation documentation and ensure broker/carrier conformance to BMS shipping instructions.
- Perform SAP order transactions for customer orders; create delivery notes, packing lists, and invoices.
- Support import/export and shipment logistics in compliance with relevant regulations (GMP, DOT, IATA, IMDG); review export shipments for legal/regulatory compliance.
- Maintain the Site Import Log; audit entry documents and declared value confirmations in accordance with import/export procedures.
- Coordinate inbound shipments from foreign countries with US Customs Broker, freight forwarders, and end users.
- Own import documentation flow/accuracy/compliance between suppliers and Customs Broker (e.g., Customs Official Agents, FDA, USDA).
- Provide SME guidance on import/export requirements to other site functions.
- Participate in projects to improve shipment and import/export processes or lanes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs in business, logistics, materials management, supply chain, or related discipline (preferred).
- 2โ4+ yearsโ experience in Inventory Control, Material Management, or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.
