Immunology Senior Research Scientist - Flow Cytometry

Role: Senior Scientist, Flow Cytometry at Vertex, leading cellular profiling efforts to support discovery and translational programs. Responsibilities: design and optimize multiparameter flow cytometry assays, lead multicolor panel development, integrate cellular and molecular data, analyze complex datasets to inform mechanism of action and biomarker strategies, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior team members. Qualifications: PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience with advanced degrees; expertise in spectral flow cytometry, cell sorting, immunophenotyping, and data analysis software like FlowJo; experience with high-dimensional assays, molecular profiling integration, and working with primary human samples preferred. HighValue: focus on immune cell phenotyping, translational and biomarker research, supporting discovery and clinical development, with potential exposure to spatial transcriptomics and single-cell genomics. WorkSetup: on-site five days a week, with ad hoc flexibility.
