Role Summary

The Hybrid Immunization Specialist (IS) drives healthcare provider (HCP) engagement and vaccine uptake across Adult and Pediatric customers. The IS educates HCPs and their office staff on disease prevention and GSK’s vaccine portfolio, translating clinical data into meaningful conversations that support vaccination goals. Reports to the Vaccine Sales Director and collaborates with field and account leadership to ensure coordinated and compliant execution. Location is field-based with travel determined by customer location in relation to the candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Drive HCP Demand and Communicate Product Value: Engage HCPs to communicate the clinical value and benefits of GSK vaccines using approved materials; build deep expertise in vaccine areas and competitors; support peer-to-peer educational programs, conventions, and speaker events.
  • Customer Engagement and Pull through: Tailor engagement strategies to local practice dynamics; ensure pull through across pediatric and adult segments for private and public vaccination; partner with Vaccine Account Managers to drive pull through within public awardees, health systems, and other contracted accounts; influence uptake of publicly funded vaccines and develop knowledge of immunization goals and funding cycles; support accounts with ordering and inventory management; educate/communicate policies; identify and address barriers to contract execution and utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Barrier Resolution: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Account Teams to ensure aligned, compliant execution; identify and address barriers to vaccine access, reimbursement, or workflow; provide actionable field insights to inform local strategy and optimize resources.
  • Operational Excellence and Compliance: Uphold standards for compliant, high-quality customer engagement; participate in business reviews and team huddles; maintain accurate CRM documentation per compliance and field standards.
  • Success Metrics & Key Performance Indicators: Achieve territory sales, immunization rates, and market share targets; track activity metrics and utilization of educational assets; maintain 100% CRM documentation compliance; complete selling excellence and product training programs.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required: Minimum 2 years of business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Required: Ability to travel domestically as necessary
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive (essential function of this role)
  • Required: The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience: Immunization Specialist (grade 8): minimum 2 years B2B or pharmaceutical sales; Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7): 5+ years B2B or pharmaceutical sales
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of vaccines sales experience
  • Preferred: Strong track record of high-level performance and consistent achievements
  • Preferred: Strong account-selling skills with healthcare experience
  • Preferred: Demonstrated competency in science, business acumen, and customer engagement
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting
  • Preferred: Demonstrated learning agility
