Identity Resolution Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer specializing in Identity Resolution & Master Data Management (MDM) within clinical software for biopharma/life sciences. Objectives: develop and operate identity capabilities ensuring accurate, auditable patient/provider data matching, linking, merging, and separation across healthcare data flows to support clinical workflows. Responsibilities: design, build, test, and maintain identity-resolution services; implement deterministic and probabilistic matching; develop workflows with audit trails; define and monitor data quality and system performance; own data models and APIs; collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements and risk management; automate operational tasks; support production services and incident response; mentor junior engineers; incorporate AI tools into daily workflows. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years software engineering experience, with 3+ years in entity-resolution or MDM systems; 2+ years API/integration experience; proven track record in matching logic and data model design; strong SDLC, testing, and production deployment skills; operational experience with high-volume services. Preferred: experience in healthcare/laboratory environments, MPI platforms, HL7/FHIR, databases, ML applications, regulated environments (SOX, FDA, HIPAA). Work setup: on-site/hybrid in Irving, Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth), with a minimum of three days on campus; may require travel, after-hours support, and participation in on-call rotations.
