Role: Electrician responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Objectives include ensuring electrical system reliability, safety, and compliance with NEC standards. Responsibilities encompass working from drawings and schematics, installing conduit and electrical components, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing maintenance, and supporting plant modifications. The role may involve managing electrical data in CMMS, coordinating work orders, and participating in safety and operational initiatives. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED plus completion of recognized electrician trade school, apprenticeship, or military training; minimum of three years' recent full-time experience with heavy industrial electrical applications or equivalent. Skills: proficiency in blueprint reading, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and working with high and low voltage systems. Preferred: experience with automated packaging or manufacturing equipment in biopharma or food industries. High-value biopharma specifics: experience with automated manufacturing, GMP compliance, and industrial electrical standards is advantageous. The position reports to the Maintenance and Utilities Supervisor and may involve some cross-functional collaboration. Work setup is on-site with no travel requirements, and shifts vary from day to night.
