Role: Electrical Engineering Manager overseeing design, development, procurement, and testing of control, instrumentation, and power systems for the NRC-regulated SHINE molybdenum-99 production facility. Responsibilities include leading a team of I&C and electrical engineers, managing safety classifications, design change control, software quality assurance, and regulatory compliance; overseeing system and instrument design, vendor deliverables, and installation; coordinating commissioning, turnover, and licensing activities; and ensuring project schedules and budgets are met. Requirements: BS in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering), 10+ years of experience in I&C or related fields, with leadership in regulated environments; expertise in control systems (DCS, PLC, DAQ), electrical power distribution (120VAC, 480VAC), and safety standards; strong management, decision-making, and communication skills. Preferred: advanced certifications, experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors, and familiarity with Agile project management. High-Value: nuclear safety, control systems design, software QA, safety classification, NRC licensing, and work in a startup nuclear manufacturing environment. Work setup: onsite in Janesville, WI, with potential for extended hours supporting construction, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
