Responsibilities:
- Use product knowledge to engage in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Maintain current knowledge of the local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers; share insights with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Sales and Commercial Leaders).
- Work with customers/accounts to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, network structure, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Use analytical tools to evaluate business performance and determine how to accomplish sales objectives using appropriate resources ethically.
- Work with leaders to develop and execute a business plan aligned with goals and sales objectives, including formulary approvals and related opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure resources and drive pull-through within the territory.
- Maintain administrative excellence (work hours, sales call data, customer objective responses, sample/expense reporting, and other administrative items).

Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years specialty sales experience (preferably rare disease and injectable; adult endocrinology disease state preferred).
- Ability to work in ambiguous, changing environments (start-up experience preferred).
- Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services.
- Proven strong performance.
- Self-starter with excellent decision-making, judgment, and ethics.
- Ability to collaborate across functions.
- Specialty drug experience (rare/orphan disease) to address customer/patient needs compliantly.
- Ability to develop a successful business plan based on customer and patient needs.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to track progress, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities.
- Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information effectively.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements at all times.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and safe driving record.
- Overnight travel required.

Compensation:
- Annual base salary: $190,000 (additional pay/benefits may vary by company policy/performance; some positions may include car/car allowance and commissions/bonus).
