Responsibilities:
- Use product knowledge to engage in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant, ethical manner.
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Maintain knowledge of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers; share insights with relevant stakeholders.
- Understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, network structure, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Use analytical tools to evaluate the business and allocate resources effectively and ethically.
- Develop and execute a business plan; consider formulary approvals and related opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate territory resources and pull-through.
- Ensure administrative excellence for work hours, sales call data, customer responses, and sample/expense reporting.

Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years specialty sales experience (prefer rare disease/injectables; adult endocrinology preferred).
- Ability to work in ambiguous/changing environments (start-up experience preferred).
- Experience with complex distribution systems, including HUB services.
- Proven strong performance.
- Experience with new product launches preferred.
- Experience with patient services via distribution HUBs and specialty pharmacies.
- Self-starter with strong judgment, decision-making, and ethics.
- Ability to collaborate across functions.
- Specialty drug (rare/orphan) experience.
- Ability to build a business plan based on customer/patient needs.
- Strong data/metrics analysis to track progress and diagnose issues.
- Ability to establish new customer relationships and communicate technical information.
- Maintain credentialing requirements.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and safe driving record.
- Overnight travel required.

Compensation:
- Annual base salary: $190,000. May include car/car allowance and eligibility for commissions/bonus based on performance.
