HVAC Technician

Role: HVAC Technician responsible for maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of industrial HVAC systems at a biopharma manufacturing site. Primary objectives include ensuring the reliable operation of chillers, freezers, water systems, air handling units, and facility-wide BAS systems, adhering to cGMP and safety standards. Responsibilities encompass preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, daily equipment rounds, and coordinating with external vendors for scheduled and unscheduled work. Requirements: AAS degree with 2+ years (Technician II) or 5+ years (Technician III) relevant experience in AC, heating, chilled water, building automation, with preference for pharmaceutical industry experience. EPA refrigeration certification and ability to gown in production areas are necessary. Preferred: knowledge of electronic, PLC, mechanical, and automation systems; experience working under GMP conditions. High-Value: industrial HVAC systems, cGMP compliance, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, site emergency on-call duties. Work setup: on-site in Menands, NY, with shift from 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, and participation in rotational emergency response.
