Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process control and environmental control HVAC systems.
- Own operational performance and regulatory compliance for site HVAC equipment (e.g., Ultra-Cold Freezers, Process Chillers).
- Provide timely feedback to site customers on HVAC system status.
- Establish and maintain appropriate spare parts inventory.
- Support investigations for abnormal equipment performance.
- Support safety initiatives (shop floor audits, lock-out/tag-out, line break, confined space permitting).
- Provide training to others as required.
- Work as part of an inclusive, high-performance team to operate equipment efficiently/safely and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Education:
- High School Diploma (required)
- A.S. in a technical discipline (preferred)

Required Experience/Skills:
- 2+ years refrigeration experience.
- 5+ years HVAC experience.
- General plumbing and pipefitting experience.
- Electrical controls experience for HVACR systems.
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints/schematics (electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics/mechanical).
- Valid driver’s license; Universal refrigerant license required.
- Meet physical requirements (e.g., lift/carry up to 50 lbs; work from ladders/elevated platforms).
- On-call rotation.
- OSHA General Industry experience (hot work; lockout/tagout).

Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Biotech/pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing experience.
- Experience with -70Β°C Ultra Cold Freezers, Freeze Driers, Liquid Nitrogen, gas furnaces/heaters.
- Experience with automated building management systems (Siemens/JCI); CMMS utilization.
- Chilled water systems, Journeyman Card/Master HVACR License.
- Experience with walk-in coolers/freezers.
