Location: Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities
- Promote and embed Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and work instructions across the manufacturing site.
- Conduct routine inspections and walkthroughs to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
- Assess training needs, develop materials, and deliver engaging Health, Safety, and Environmental training sessions.
- Collect and analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data to identify trends and recommend improvement actions.
- Support implementation and tracking of Health, Safety, and Environmental action plans using internal systems.
- Assist with waste management, contractor oversight, and environmental compliance activities.
- Partner with the Radiation Safety Officer on surveys, sampling, emergency response, and radiation safety tasks.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Required: Ability to deliver effective training and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Required: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Required: Ability to prioritize tasks, respond to changing needs, and remain effective under pressure.
- Preferred: Previous GMP experience.
- Preferred: Previous Radiation Safety experience.
