HSE Specialist (Facility Safety)

Role: HSE Specialist supporting site safety programs and contractor safety management at a Cambridge-based biopharma facility. Responsibilities: develop, implement, and improve safety protocols including confined space, LOTO, hot work, fall protection; oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, hazard assessments; manage contractor pre‑qualification, training, and compliance; coordinate fire protection and risk mitigation activities; lead incident investigations and ensure regulatory documentation. Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably with facilities and contractor safety programs; knowledge of pharma industry safety nuances is a plus; bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or related field; strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred: experience in research laboratory environments; fluency in English.
