Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, implement, and maintain environmental policies and procedures to achieve compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards, and improve environmental performance.
- Establish programs to meet Sanofiโs sustainability goals.
- Stay current on and evaluate impacts of new/changing environmental regulations and company requirements.
- Oversee periodic audits and inspections to assure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support campus environmental clients by ensuring Annual Improvement Plans are developed and incidents are properly investigated.
- Establish and track department goals; determine objectives and manage projects in support of those goals.
- Develop, mentor, and lead campus workers to achieve project objectives and department goals.
- Influence environmental policy and strategy aligned with business needs.
- Liaise with other sites to ensure network-level continuity of environmental compliance programs.
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs for staff to meet competencies and regulatory obligations.
- Build HSE culture and support Sanofi Manufacturing System elements (e.g., QDCI deployment, Managerial Safety Visits, HSE Metrics reporting, Learning Experience Reporting).
- Manage submission of environmental permits.
- Provide subject matter expertise for environmental technical activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in HSE, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Bachelorโs degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related technical field.
- High knowledge in environmental sustainability, air permitting, wastewater, and waste management.
