Hospital Reference Test Clerk

Role: Hospital Reference Test Clerk supporting laboratory specimen processing and testing in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: prepare specimens, troubleshoot customer/specimen issues, manage test requests/results, assist clients, process specimens for outreach labs, perform sample sorting/racking, record keeping, and maintain a safe environment. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred 1+ years of medical/clinical lab experience; comfort with biological specimens, accurate specimen identification, basic computer/data entry skills, strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; ability to work independently or in teams; pass color blindness test. High-Value: clinical laboratory, specimen handling, sample processing, troubleshooting, data entry, patient/customer service. Work setup: on-site in Kirksville, MO, Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM.
