Hospital Phlebotomist

Role: Hospital Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, processing, and customer service at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Primary objectives include performing blood draws via venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, collecting various specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), and maintaining accurate patient and specimen data. Responsibilities also encompass administrative tasks like billing, specimen preparation, and documentation, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency or 3+ months of experience. Preferred: 1+ years of phlebotomy experience; proven customer service skills, strong communication, independence, reliability, and flexibility for overtime and travel.
