Hospital Phlebotomist - 1st shift

Role: The job is for a Hospital Phlebotomist responsible for performing blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient and specimen data. Responsibilities include specimen processing, administrative duties, and providing excellent patient service, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency, or at least 3 months of experience; preferred: 1+ years of phlebotomy experience. Skills: strong communication, customer service, ability to work independently or in a team, reliability, flexibility for overtime, pass color blindness test. Work setup: On-site at Mobile Infirmary Hospital, Monday-Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with rotating Saturdays and overtime as needed; travel to other sites possible.
