Hospital Patient Care Technician

Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in a hospital/in-patient setting. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all ages, process specimens, coordinate testing needs, manage patient flow, handle administrative tasks, and travel to multiple sites as needed. Requirements: High school diploma, phlebotomy certification, 2+ years of venipuncture experience, leadership experience, and AAMA or CMA accreditation. Preferred: LabCorp experience, 3+ years of experience, pediatric/neonatal draws, ICD-9 knowledge, strong communication, and customer service skills.
