Hospital Laboratory Supervisor- Core Lab

Role: Clinical Laboratory Supervisor overseeing daily operations of the Core Laboratory at Henry Ford St. John Hospital. Objectives include ensuring accurate testing, timely reporting, staff supervision, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities encompass supervising, training, and mentoring laboratory personnel; monitoring workflow; maintaining quality control and assurance; researching process improvements; and performing technical bench work as needed. Qualifications require a Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or a similar field, with 2+ years of lab experience, ASCP or AMT certification, and familiarity with CLIA, CAP, and laboratory info systems.
