Role: Hospital Lab Assistant specializing in inventory and supplies management at Ascension St. John Hospital, supporting clinical lab operations. Responsibilities: place vendor orders, process incoming stock, manage inventory discrepancies, conduct monthly physical counts, deliver supplies internally, and handle related materials duties. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of inventory, purchasing, or supply management experience in a hospital lab setting. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance, or an Associate’s in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology. High-value: healthcare supply chain, inventory control, procurement systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle), data tracking, and physical logistics. Skills: knowledge of inventory management, supply chain logistics, basic computer proficiency, advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas), strong communication, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, onsite at Tulsa, OK; physical and logistical duties in a high-volume clinical environment. The role is critical to maintaining efficient lab operations and ensuring timely availability of supplies.
