Histotechnologist Trainee

Role: Histotechnologist Trainee responsible for processing human tissue and fluid specimens for microscopic examination, producing histopathological slides, performing immunohistochemical staining, and ensuring quality control. Responsibilities: operate manual and automated lab instruments, prepare specimens, stain slides, document procedures and maintenance, and report accurate test results to support patient care. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; computer proficiency; attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; pass color blindness test. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: entry-level role supporting histology in a clinical diagnostic setting; training provided; work schedule: night shift (11 PM–7:30 AM) in Lakewood, CO; flexibility for overtime.
