Role: Histotechnologist I responsible for processing and staining human tissue specimens from clinical trial samples, with emphasis on protocol adherence, sample handling, and quality control. Responsibilities include decalcification, embedding, microtomy, advanced staining, slide scanning, specimen accessioning, labeling, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining instruments, and monitoring reagents/materials. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Chemical/Biological sciences or related field, 1+ year of clinical histology lab experience, HTL or HT ASCP licensing. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification, immunohistochemistry experience, molecular histology including FISH.
