Histotechnologist

Role: Histology Professional at LabCorp, supporting tissue processing and slide preparation for microscopic examination in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: process human tissue and fluids, perform histopathological slide prep, embed and section tissues, conduct immunohistochemical and special staining procedures, operate and maintain manual and automated lab instruments, ensure quality control, and report accurate test results. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Biological or Chemical Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 1 year of histology experience; familiarity with histology techniques and lab SOPs. Preferred: Histology and/or ASCP certifications, immunohistochemistry experience, and work in high-volume labs. High-Value: clinical histology, immunohistochemistry, automation, quality control, regulatory compliance (CLIA). WorkSetup: Day shift, Monday to Friday, rotating weekends, in Detroit, MI.
