Histotechnician - Grosser

Role: Histotechnician responsible for processing human tissue and fluid specimens for microscopic examination, including embedding, sectioning, staining, and immunohistochemistry, to produce histopathological slides. Responsibilities: perform technical procedures, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensure quality control, document processes, and report accurate results to support patient care. Requirements: associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science or related field, with 2+ years of grossing experience; preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, histology or ASCP certification, and prior Labcorp experience. High-Value: histology and immunohistochemistry, tissue embedding and sectioning, high-volume laboratory environment, experience with SOPs and safety protocols. WorkSetup: night shift (Monday-Friday 11:30 pm - 8:00 am) in San Diego, CA.
