Histotechnician

Role: Histotechnician responsible for processing human tissue and fluid specimens for microscopic examination, including embedding, sectioning, staining, and performing immunohistochemistry on surgical samples. Responsibilities: operate manual and automated histology equipment, prepare slides, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain quality control to deliver timely, high-quality results. Requirements: Associate's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 3 months of histology and immunohistochemistry experience preferred; histology and/or ASCP certification beneficial. HighValue: histology and immunohistochemistry, surgical tissue processing, high-volume laboratory setting, quality and regulatory compliance. WorkSetup: night shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am), with potential overtime and shift flexibility.
