Histopathology Operations Specialist I (Tues - Sat 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Role: Histopathology Operations Specialist I supporting laboratory operations within the Upstream Laboratory and Pathology teams. Objectives include specimen/data stewardship, technical support, equipment maintenance, and process troubleshooting to ensure specimen integrity and testing quality. Responsibilities encompass specimen handling, documentation, troubleshooting, routine equipment maintenance, slide scanning, and adherence to SOPs, GDP, and privacy standards. Qualifications: High school diploma plus 3 years in regulated fields, or an associate's degree with 2 years, or a bachelor's in biological/life sciences. Preferred skills include laboratory experience in CLIA or CAP environments, familiarity with anatomy, cancer biology, lab systems (LIMS), and strong communication skills. Experience with scientific data handling, multitasking, and working independently or in teams is desirable.
