Histology Team Lead - Immunohistochemistry

Role: Histology Team Leader overseeing daily operations of the histology department at Tufts Medical Center, supporting quality, workflow, and personnel development. Responsibilities: assist with specimen processing, monitor instrumentation, prepare reagents, ensure quality control, generate reports, train staff, and maintain safety standards. Requirements: Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological science, with 3+ years as a Histotechnologist/Histotechnician; ASCP certification preferred. Additional qualifications include familiarity with routine histology procedures, lab equipment, high-volume environment experience, and computer proficiency. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, immunohistochemistry experience, supervisory experience, and relevant certifications.
