Histology Team Lead

Role: Histology Team Lead at Labcorp, overseeing tissue processing and staining, including immunohistochemistry, to support diagnostic and research activities. Responsibilities: perform IHC and special stains, process human tissue and fluid specimens, prepare slides, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure quality control and accurate reporting of results. Requirements: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science or related field; minimum 2 years Histology experience; familiarity with histology procedures and lab systems; strong attention to detail. Preferred: Histology and ASCP certifications, over 5 years Histology experience, 6+ months Immunohistochemistry experience. High-Value: role involves technical leadership in histopathology, requires comprehensive knowledge of laboratory SOPs, safety protocols, and specimen handling; emphasis on accuracy and quality assurance. Work setup: onsite in Richland, WA, with schedule Monday-Friday 4:30 am–1:00 pm; overtime and rotating weekends may be required.
