Histology Supervisor

Role: Histology Supervisor overseeing the daily operations of the histology laboratory in a high-volume clinical setting, ensuring accurate testing, timely reporting, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: supervise staff, manage workflow, ensure equipment maintenance and quality assurance, lead process improvements, and perform administrative duties including staffing and records management. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a related science field and 3+ years as a Histotechnologist; supervisory experience (preferred), histology/ASCP certification (preferred). High-Value: clinical histology, CLIA and CAP regulation adherence, high-volume laboratory environment, team leadership, and technical proficiency in histology procedures. Work Setup: Burlington, NC; primarily evening shift (12p-9p), with flexibility; physical, technical, and regulatory expertise required.
