Histology Supervisor

Role: Histology Supervisor overseeing daily operations at a clinical laboratory within Tufts Medical Center, focusing on histology testing, staff supervision, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include managing workflow, supervising, training, and mentoring personnel; ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, state laws); maintaining equipment and quality records; and implementing process improvements. Requirements: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Histology, or related field; 5+ years’ experience as a Histotechnologist/Histotechnician; histology and/or ASCP certification; proficiency in routine histology procedures and laboratory information systems. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science; 6+ months supervising or leading teams.
