Title: High Voltage Electrician - Instrument Technician – Maintenance – LP1

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on 4160 and 480V electrical equipment (circuit breakers, 13.8KV main switchgear, motor starters, fuses, ground fault interrupts).
- Perform preventive maintenance on complex electrical equipment (motor control centers, variable-speed drives, PLCs).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and minimize downtime for electrical and process instrumentation equipment.
- Perform modifications and new installations of electrical and process instrumentation.
- Install/replace complex electrical equipment (motor control centers, main switchgear, etc.).
- Maintain process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, automatic control valves).
- Read P&ID drawings and schematics.

Required Qualifications:
- 480 Volt switchgear experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Post Offer exam
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time (Lilly does not sponsor visas)

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent electrical/instrumentation experience
- Experience troubleshooting and installing instrumentation
- Mechanical aptitude; basic electrical skills and circuit troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; outdoor work in winter/summer; respond to call-in/scheduled overtime
- Experience maintaining circuit breakers/medium voltage switchgear/motor starters/fuses
- Experience with CMMS (e.g., GMARS) and documenting work (ALCOA+)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

Additional Information:
- Some shift work; temporary shift changes possible
- Hazardous utilities work; PPE required; ladders/scaffolding may be required; works during summer and year-end breaks

Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $21.27–$45.48
