Main Responsibilities:
- Design and execute HEOR research (economic modeling, database analysis, observational research, systematic literature review, evidence synthesis, value dossier development) and provide trial design recommendations.
- Set HEOR evidence generation priorities and plans for assigned Rare Disease indications across the product lifecycle and incorporate into integrated evidence generation plan (IEGP).
- Partner within global Brand and development teams to design clinical research programs meeting regulator, HTA, and payer evidentiary standards.
- Build collaborative payer relationships to inform decision makers; leverage payer interactions to improve research impact and advocate for data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to provide input across commercial, medical, market access teams, and strategy development.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams; work independently within defined policies, budget guidelines, ethics, and applicable law.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline.
- 7+ yearsβ combined experience in health economics, outcomes research, or related field.
- U.S. product launch experience; understanding of U.S. payer evidence requirements and value demonstration.
- Demonstrated application of HEOR methods; supported global launches.
- Proficiency in evidence-based medicine principles, clinical research methodology, economic modeling, and COAs.
- Experience translating access/value propositions into evidence hypotheses, requirements, and generation plans addressing payer/provider/health system unmet needs.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications; knowledge of global HTA processes (HTA submissions preferred).
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills and ability to establish HEOR/HEVA expertise.
- Compliance with internal SOPs and external laws/regulations; timely design and execution of HEOR/HEVA plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of disease physiopathology, drug mechanism of action, epidemiology/biostatistics, programming for COA development, systematic literature reviews, and network meta-analyses.
