Hepatology Access & Reimbursement Manager (H-ARM)

Responsibilities:
- Support access to GSK Hepatology products for appropriate patients.
- Educate providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK specialty products.
- Help providers understand GSK Patient Support Programs to assist appropriate patients in accessing GSK hepatology medicines.
- Interface internally with Payer Account Managers, Hepatology Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Hepatology Sales teams.
- Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities related to GSK’s hepatology portfolio.
- Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise.
- Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams.
- Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs.
- Provide subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to patient access.
- Reports to a Director of Hepatology Field Reimbursement.

Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ability to travel up to 60% (including overnights).
- Live within the territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement or Specialty/Biologics Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided) or Payer Marketing or Patient Support Programs.

Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree.
- Live within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport (larger geographies).
- 6+ years’ experience in the areas above.
- Experience in Hepatology or Gastroenterology; understanding of diagnostic journey.
- Experience with Centers of Excellence and/or complex healthcare systems.
- Experience supporting product launches in rare disease/highly specialized therapies.
- Cultural fluency engaging diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of payer environment and reimbursement methodologies/policies.
- Customer focus; relationship building, issue resolution, problem-solving, project management.
- Ability to operate independently in a matrix environment without direct reports.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation).
- Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient reimbursement environments and regulations.
- Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy access process.
- Understanding of Commercial and Medicare Parts A/B/C/D and state Medicaid dynamics.
- Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding regulations.
- Experience working with HUBs or reimbursement call centers.
