Hepatology Access & Reimbursement Manager (H-ARM)
Role Responsibilities:
- Support access to GSK Hepatology products for appropriate patients.
- Educate providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK specialty products; help providers understand GSK Patient Support Programs.
- Interface with Payer Account Managers, Hepatology Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Hepatology Sales teams.
- Analyze hepatology access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
- Provide product access/reimbursement expertise to offices.
- Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams.
- Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with third parties, including hubs.
- Provide subject matter expertise on reimbursement barriers impacting patient access.
- Reports to a Director of Hepatology Field Reimbursement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Travel up to 60% (including overnights).
- Live within the territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement, Specialty/Biologics Field Sales, Payer Marketing, and/or Patient Support Programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree.
- Live within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport (for larger geographies).
- 6+ years’ experience in the areas above.
- Hepatology/Gastroenterology experience and understanding of the patient diagnostic journey.
- Experience with Centers of Excellence/complex healthcare systems.
- Experience supporting product launches in rare/highly specialized therapies with complex access.
- Knowledge of payer environment, reimbursement methodologies, and payer policies for HCP and self-administered drugs.
- Experience with customer-focused relationship building, issue resolution, problem-solving, and project management.
- Strong independent, matrix leadership without direct reports.
- Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient reimbursement environments; specialty pharmacy access process.
- Understanding of Commercial, Medicare Parts A–D, and state Medicaid dynamics.
- Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding regulations.
- Experience with HUB/reimbursement call centers.
Compensation/Benefits:
- US base salary range (new hires): $152,250–$253,750; annual bonus; eligibility for long-term incentive; benefits include health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental + medical leave.
