Hemolytic Anemia Sales Specialist (Pittsburgh)

Role: Hemolytic Anemia Sales Specialist responsible for increasing awareness of Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD) and Thalassemia, driving diagnosis and treatment initiation with Pyrukynd and Aqvesme. Responsibilities: develop territory plans, build customer relationships, collaborate with internal teams (medical affairs, marketing, market access), and meet sales targets through demand creation and education efforts. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; minimum 5 years of rare disease sales experience, preferably in hematology/oncology; strong clinical, diagnostics, and genetics knowledge; proven success launching therapies and building disease awareness; excellent account management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: experience leading regional/national initiatives, existing relationships with hematology/oncology healthcare providers, and prior rare disease product launches. High-Value: rare genetic hematological diseases, PKD, Thalassemia, biologics, gene therapies, commercial stage products, large territory management, extensive travel (~50-60%), remote/field-based work. The role entails frequent travel within a large geographic area, working independently, and representing Agios professionally with compliance adherence.
