Role Summary
Heme Territory Manager (Mid-West) is a field-based role focused on demand generation and promotion of Casgevy for SCD and TDT. This position covers Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota and involves educating HCPs, executing territory strategies, and driving product adoption while maintaining compliance and using data tools to optimize opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Compliantly promote the safe and effective use of Casgevy in accordance with the product label and company training and policies
- Drive demand by educating referring HCPs at Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) and community centers through education, messaging, and awareness
- Develop and execute territory strategy for interactions with HCPs unaffiliated with ATCs, while supporting GTAM-led ATC HCP interaction strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at referring/community sites to build awareness and drive adoption of Casgevy
- Educate HCPs on treatment journey and patient identification considerations and process for referrals to ATCs
- Collaborate cross-functionally across geographies, demonstrating leadership to achieve shared goals
- Demonstrate deep understanding of market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, product and data
- Proactively anticipate environmental changes and challenges to optimize execution; strategically manage changes
- Utilize data reporting tools to understand trends and identify territory and customer opportunities
- Move between non-digital and digital settings and use tools to deliver customized customer experiences
- Maintain clinical expertise in Hematology (SCD, TDT, HSCT) and present complex data clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Operate ethically and in compliance; use CRM tools effectively to track activities and report progress against goals/KPIs
- Attend conferences and serve as a bridge between the company and referring hematologists to foster relationships and inform strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharma or biotech sales and/or rare disease product launch experience in Biotech, Device, Laboratory, or specialty field sales environments (e.g., Cell and Gene therapy, Hematology, Transplant, Oncology/Immunology) with relevance to SCD, BMT, or Cell & Gene settings
- Knowledge of infused-biologic therapies for chronic, rare diseases
- Ability to meet customer credentialing requirements (training, background screens, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and in good standing
- Ability to travel up to 100% to assigned coverage locations
