Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic area/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; share information to HCPs as allowed and provide customer viewpoints to Pfizer.
- Understand Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities to contribute to medical content strategy and execute aligned tactics.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with HQ Medical colleagues and Medical Information.
- Deliver expertise across channels (live/virtual presentations, written, phone/virtual conversations); optimize patient centricity using health literacy and cultural awareness.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content on Pfizer medicines and relevant topics in the designated therapeutic area.
- Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Provide truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information in response to direct unsolicited HCP requests per Pfizer guidelines.
- Field inbound HCP queries via established triage process.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology R&D, and GPD to identify clinical trial sites (including under-represented populations).
- Provide Medical support throughout Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Cultivate TA/research expertise (latest congress data and literature); provide asset leadership.
- Understand and communicate study design/methodology/data analysis concepts.
- Lead local patient advocacy communications; deliver insights on patient organizations.
- Serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs leadership with professional associations.
- Mentorship (onboarding partner, advisory board and study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ yrs), MBA/MSc (7+ yrs), BA/BSc (8+ yrs).
- Subject matter expert across internal/external stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage projects in a remote environment with strong judgment.
- Matrixed team collaboration; lead change; change agility; problem-solve/network.
- Use digital technology; record medical interactions; excellent oral/written communication.
- Operate company car; travel 60–80%.

Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal doctoral degree highly preferred; Hematology expertise; Field Medical experience.
- Familiarity with SOPs/rules/regulations; leadership/teamwork; self-starter/accountability; interpersonal/conflict management.

Work Location: Remote – Field Based.
