Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC), coordinating with Pfizer colleagues.
- Maintain knowledge of therapeutic area/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; respond to HCP information requests per Pfizer guidance and share customer viewpoints.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy development and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Communicate effectively across channels (live/virtual presentations, written, telephone/virtual).
- Optimize patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness.
Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content on Pfizer medicines and relevant topics.
- Identify/seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Provide truthful, accurate, scientifically supported responses to unsolicited HCP requests; field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR); partner on site identification for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials (incl. under-represented populations).
- Provide study design/methodology/data interpretation guidance; cultivate disease state/congress expertise.
- Provide asset leadership; support patient advocacy groups; serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs leadership; mentor.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree in a health science.
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD 5+ years; MBA/MSc 7+ years; BA/BSc 8+ years.
- Subject matter expert; strong prioritization/judgment in remote work; matrix/team collaboration; change agility; excellent oral/written communication; travel 60β80% and operate company car.
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD/PhD or terminal degree; hematology expertise; prior Field Medical experience; knowledge of SOPs/regulations; leadership/teamwork.
