Oncology Field Medical, Director (Remote – Field Based, Texas; Houston preferred)

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical strategy and compliant customer engagement in assigned territory (Texas), coordinating with Pfizer colleagues.
- Provide therapeutic area/product expertise in malignant hematology to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as medical information conduit; share customer insights and viewpoints as appropriate.
- Contribute to medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Deliver approved medical content (live/virtual, written, phone); optimize patient centricity (health literacy, cultural awareness).
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical requests and field inbound queries via triage.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs/Oncology R&D/GPD to identify trial sites (including under-represented populations); support ISR.
- Build malignant hematology expertise; understand study design/data analysis and communicate to customers.
- Lead/participate on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs with clinical/professional associations; provide mentorship.

Basic Qualifications / Required
- Bachelor’s degree in health science.
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ yrs) or MBA/MSc (7+ yrs) or BA/BSc (8+ yrs).
- Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology.
- Reside in Texas (prefer Houston).
- Strong judgment, prioritization, communication, and ability to manage remote projects; matrix team collaboration.
- Travel 60–80% (company car/regular flights).

Preferred
- PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree.
- Deep malignant hematology expertise; established HCP network in territory.
- Field Medical experience.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% of base; eligible for long-term incentive.
