Job Description
- Candidates must live within the territory: Milwaukee, WI through the UP of Michigan.

Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities
- Build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals.
- Demonstrate strong hematology disease-state understanding and build relationships with hematologists/oncologists, nursing/office staff, and others in the oncology patient care continuum.
- Meet/exceed assigned sales goals.
- Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive selling within Promotional Policy boundaries.
- Leverage sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic plans.
- Execute sales/marketing strategies in-territory with cross-functional partners and approved resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical, market, and payer developments for oncology.
- Complete required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Develop and execute call plan to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Seek out important information in assigned accounts and articulate implications for business and customers.
- Transfer knowledge to internal partners and integrate methodologies that benefit customers/patients across indications/brands.
- Maintain understanding of approved product label and disease state.
- Optimize use of data/resources/tools to identify sales opportunities and program strategy.
- With legal/OEC approval, participate in relevant local organizational programs.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of pharma sales experience.
- 2+ years of hematology/oncology sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
- Consultative communication and competitive selling skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit in a challenging environment.
- Business travel regularly required (air or car).

Preferred
- Oncology/specialty or other pharma experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare/patient or consulting healthcare experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or advanced degree.
