Main Responsibilities
- Scientific Communication Harmonization: Establish a unified vision for scientific communications across GBUs and regions; develop governance to ensure consistent messaging, quality, and compliance; partner with Global Medical, R&D, GTMC, and local country teams to align scientific narratives and communication strategies; champion best practices and standardization with appropriate country adaptation.

- Biostatistics: Provide input on publication concepts/submissions; conduct statistical analyses for publications/presentations from Sanofi-sponsored clinical studies (Phase 2–4 and exploratory analyses).
- Publications Information Access: Ensure internal access to publications/data; oversee publication tracking, repository management, and information retrieval systems; drive digital innovation for stakeholder access; partner with IT/Digital to optimize technologies.
- Independent Medical Education (IME): Provide strategic oversight of IME programs/investments; align IME initiatives to medical strategy and educational gaps; maintain compliance with applicable regulations/guidelines/industry codes; evaluate IME partnerships and measure educational impact.
- Grants & Donations: Oversee scientific/medical grants and charitable donations; ensure robust governance, transparency, and compliance; develop grant evaluation/allocation criteria; monitor and report grant/donation impact on scientific/medical communities.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team; foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, continuous learning; attract/retain talent and build succession plans; manage budget and resources.

Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field.
- 10+ years progressive experience in scientific communications/medical affairs (or related) with 5+ years in senior leadership roles leading teams.
- Deep expertise in publications, medical communications, and scientific content development with an innovative track record.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines (e.g., GPP, ICMJE, PhRMA Code).
- Background/experience in digital communications and emerging technologies.
- Therapeutic area expertise aligned with the company’s portfolio.
- Experience with organizational transformation and change management.
